Super Duty Power & Preparation

Michael bought his new canopy on the Ford Super Duty Ranger to us for a custom Victron power system which he wanted as compact as possible. Michael plans to complete the canopy fit out for his adventures after the system installation.

Making use of our CNC machine, we designed and install a custom wall mounting panel which featured a recess to slot a Victron 200Ah Next Generation (NG) Lithium Battery in to, to make for a narrower installation.

Components included in the canopy fitout include:

✅️ A Victron 200Ah NG Smart Bluetooth Lithium Battery with Small BMS NG and 100A Battery Protect (Load Output)  

✅️ A Victron 2000VA Smart Bluetooth Inverter  

✅️ Two Victron Smart Bluetooth Orion XS 50A DC chargers for a hefty100A Vehicle Charge  

✅️ A Victron 20A MPPT with external yellow 50A Anderson plug input to facilitate a solar panel mounted to the roof or portable panel  

✅️ A 10-way Touch Switch panel with Bluetooth remote App, so accessories like the inverter, lights, Starlink and compressor etc. can be switched on and off remotely by phone or by the switch panel  

✅️ A 30V Starlink Power Supply and external Blue Anderson plug to allow a Starlink Mini to be mounted on the roof

✅️ Two National Luna white 3-level LED strips, one on either side 

✅️ A Cig Socket at the inside rear of the canopy for awning lights  

✅️ A 3-way Socket Housing with Cig Socket and two Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (QC3.0) USB's   

✅️ A prewired Anderson Plug connection for a fridge to be installed in a canopy fridge enclosure  

✅️ A 12 pin esc wiring & fridge Ignition Trigger upgrade to the existing 12 pin socket  

✅️ A 50A grey Anderson Plug Charge Circuit switched by the key and mounted on an Anderson Plug Bracket  

✅️ A 50A red Anderson plug for esc  

✅️ A rear Camera Mirror Monitor suit two caravan cameras   

✅️ A UHF Antenna and Antenna Bracket

✅️ A UHF switched with the ignition also featuring a UHF microphone pass thru connection on the left hand side of the centre console. This setup lets you hide the main UHF radio body safely out of sight while keeping a clean plug-in point for your mic handpiece
